Spreading the Word: Tabling at Mount Pleasant Markets
Over the past year, one of the most rewarding aspects of my work with Proyecto Chigayaco has been engaging directly with the community. Tabling at the farmer’s and art markets in Mount Pleasant has provided an incredible platform to share our mission and connect with local supporters.
Setting up a table amidst the bustling markets, I’ve had the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life. These interactions have been invaluable, as they not only helped raise awareness about our conservation efforts but also inspired new supporters to join our cause. From distributing flyers to engaging in meaningful conversations, these market days have been filled with enthusiasm and hope.
