Recent Achievements

We have made remarkable progress, successfully finalizing the purchase and protection of four hectares (roughly ten acres) of precious rainforest just outside the town of Siberia in Putumayo, Colombia. This achievement has been a significant step in our mission to safeguard the natural beauty and biodiversity of this incredible region.

Our initial success inspired the landowner to offer us an additional eight hectares of untouched jungle. In an astounding show of support, our dedicated team managed to crowdfund the entire down payment of $3 million COP in less than a week!

The proceeds from these transactions have directly benefited the landowner, who is now able to start a business to support his family of seven. This not only protects the rainforest but also promotes sustainable livelihoods within the community.
Success Story:
The Flourishing Four Hectares
When we first encountered the four hectares of land in May 2023, it looked like a wasteland—torn-down trees littered everywhere, a big gaping hole in the rainforest devoid of birds and animals. However, once we informed the owner of our plan to buy, he left the land completely untouched. Over the months, without any human intervention, the vegetation began to flourish on its own.
Mother Nature, in all her wisdom, took over. The fungi decomposed the fallen trees, creating natural fertilizer. Bugs began to pollinate the growing plants, and birds passing overhead dropped seeds. Small animals played their part, contributing to the regeneration of the ecosystem. By June 2024, trees measuring 6 to 7 meters tall had grown, and it was impossible to see from one side of the four hectares to the other, a stark contrast to the barren landscape of a year before.
This remarkable transformation is a triumph of nature, demonstrating how ecosystems can heal even the ugliest wounds when left to their own devices. It shows us that the Earth knows what it’s doing, and we can learn invaluable lessons from the way nature works in harmony to restore balance and peace.
